Patrol Leader ?

The Patrol Leader (PL) is the elected leader of his patrol. He represents his patrol on the Patrol Leaders' Council (PLC). Reports to the Senior Patrol Leader (SPL). You'll also work with the Troop Guide who is assigned to your patrol. Appoints the Assistant Patrol Leader (APL). Represents the patrol on the PLC. Plans and steers patrol meetings. Helps Scouts advance
Acts as the chief recruiter of new Scouts. Keeps patrol members informed. Knows what his patrol members and other leaders can do. Sets the example. Wears the uniform correctly

 Assistant Patrol Leader:?

The Assistant Patrol Leader is appointed by the Patrol Leader and leads the patrol in his absence. Reports to the Patrol Leader. Helps the Patrol Leader plan and steer patrol meetings and activities. Helps him keep patrol members informed. Helps the Patrol Leader get ready for all Patrol activities. Represents his patrol at Patrol Leaders' Council (PLC) when the Patrol Leader cannot attend. Lends a hand controlling the patrol and building patrol spirit. Sets a good example. Wears the uniform correctly. Lives by the Scout Oath and Law. Shows Scout spirit

 Patrol Quartermaster:?

Reports to the assistant Patrol Leader. Keeps records on patrol equipment. Makes sure equipment is in good working condition. Issues equipment to Patrol members on campouts and ensures it is returned in good condition.
Makes suggestions for new or replacement items. Works with the Troop Quartermaster. Sets a good example. Enthusiastically wears the Scout uniform correctly. Lives by the Scout Oath and Law. Shows Scout spirit

 Patrol Scribe: ?

The scribe keeps the Patrol records. He records the activities of each Patrol outings and advancement. Scribe duties: Attends and keeps a log of Patrol meetings, campouts and outings.
Helps records individual Scout attendance. Records individual Scout advancement progress. Works with Patrol Scribe Advisor and Patrol Inspector. Sets a good example. Enthusiastically wears the Scout uniform correctly. Lives by the Scout Oath and Law. Shows Scout spirit.

 Patrol Cheer Leader: ?

Leads hiking cadences/ songs, Develops Patrol songs, skits, and hiking songs. Works with Patrol Cheer Advisor. Sets a good example. Enthusiastically wears the Scout uniform correctly. Lives by the Scout Oath and Law. Shows Scout spirit.

 Patrol Grub master: (May Campout)?

Assigned per campout, works with the Patrol Grub master Advisor and Patrol Quartermaster, making sure that meals are planned, and that all equipment for each meal is available. Sets a good example. Enthusiastically wears the Scout uniform correctly. Lives by the Scout Oath and Law. Shows Scout spirit.

 Patrol Flag Bearer: ?

Cares for the Patrol flag, making sure that is it available for all Patrol meetings, campouts, and outings. Carries the flag at the front of all hikes. Sets a good example. Enthusiastically wears the Scout uniform correctly. Lives by the Scout Oath and Law. Shows Scout spirit.

 Patrol Historian: ?

The Historian keeps a historical record or a scrapbook of all Patrol activities. Reports to the Assistant Patrol Leader. Gathers and helps takes pictures and facts about past and present Patrol activities and keeps them in a historical file or scrapbook, works with the Patrol Photographer. Takes care of Patrol trophies, ribbons, and souvenirs of Patrol activities. Sets a good example. Enthusiastically wears the Scout uniform correctly. Lives by the Scout Oath and Law. Photographer: ?

Be ready to take photos at campouts and other Scout activities, work with the Patrol Historian, assist with uploading Patrol pictures to the Patrol web site. Reports to the Assitant Patrol Leader. Also works with the Patrol Newsletter and Photographer Advisors. Sets a good example. Enthusiastically wears the Scout uniform correctly. Lives by the Scout Oath and Law. Shows Scout spirit.

Patrol Inspector: ?

Makes sure all campouts are kept clean, that all tents are tidy and neat. Ensures that all equipment is ready for inspection by the Patrol Quartermaster. Works with Patrol Scribe to ensure all Patrol members come to meetings, campouts and outings in proper uniforms with their books. Keeps records of uniform inspections and assigns Kitchen Patrol on campouts to those that come unprepared. Sets a good example. Enthusiastically wears the Scout uniform correctly. Lives by the Scout Oath and Law. Shows Scout spirit.

Patrol Medic: ?

Reports to the Assistant Patrol Leader.Makes sure that the Patrol First Aide kit is fully stocked. Carries the First Aide kit on all hikes and outings. Helps administer First Aide as needed. Sets a good example. Enthusiastically wears the Scout uniform correctly. Lives by the Scout Oath and Law. Shows Scout spirit.

I don’t want any boys to be idle or bored. It will help them learn responsibility for when they are older Scouts and take on Troop Positions.

Patrol Adult Leaders:

Patrol Advisors: ?

Help guide the Patrol Leader in leading the Patrol, help where needed in other positions, keep the Patrol focused on advancement. Work with other Patrol Advisors.

Patrol Outing Coordinator: ?

Assist the Patrol Advisor develop ideas and coordinate outings, at least once per month, for the Patrol to do Scouting activities, outside of regular Troop meetings and campouts. Such as bowling, skating, hiking for examples. Help develop activities for the Patrol during Troop campouts.

Patrol Chaplin Advisor:?

Assist the Patrol Advisor help the Patrol keep focused on having a faith based Scouting experience. Reminding the boys to pray, read their Bibles, to be a liaison with the Troop Chaplin and Chaplin Aid.

Patrol Training / Advancement Advisor: ?

Assist the Patrol Advisor help the Patrol Historian with tracking each Patrol members advancement, with tracking attendance and help coordinate Campout activities that will guide the Patrol in Advancement, work with the Outing Advisor.

Patrol Newsletter / Scribe Advisor: ?

Assist the Patrol Advisor guide the Patrol Scribe, help him get notes on each Patrol meeting, work with the Patrol Historian and Patrol Historian Advisor.

Patrol Safety Advisor: ?

Assist the Patrol Advisor make sure each Outing is conducted with Safety in mind at all times, make sure each Patrol member and Advisor adhere to BSA guidelines, including Two Deep Leadership, making sure all Advisors are current with Youth Protection and Adult Leadership

Patrol Quartermaster Advisor: ?

Assist the Patrol Advisor help the Patrol Quartermaster keep record of all Patrol Equipment, help ensure that we have all needed supplies for all outings and campouts.

Patrol Historian / Photographer Advisor ?

Assist the Patrol Advisor work with the Patrol Newsletter / Scribe and Advisor, help the Patrol Historian keep up with all Patrol Photos, assist the Patrol Historian post pictures to Patrol website.

Patrol Cheer / Song Advisor: ?

Assist the Patrol Advisor help the Patrol Cheer Leader with hiking songs and skits, help keep moral up with Patrol songs.

Patrol Grub master Advisor ?
